يعتبر مركز الحاسوب منذ انطلاقته البوابة الإلكترونية لجامعة كسلا والتي من خلالها يتم دعم وتقديم جميع الخدمات الالكترونية للطلبة والعاملين في الجامعة. إن مركز الحاسوب يطلع بدور اساسي ومهم في تقديم الخدمة الإلكترونية بأحدث الوسائل والتقنيات التكنولوجية المتنوعة، حيث يتبنى مركز الحاسوب من خلال كادره المؤهل حوسبة وصيانة جميع البرمجيات التي تسهل إجراءات تقديم الخدمة للطلبة والعاملين بحرفية ومسؤولية عالية.
وانطلاقا من توجهات إدارة الجامعة ممثلة في مدير الجامعة يقوم مركز الحاسوب بدور ريادي من خلال تبنية لمنظومة متكاملة من البرامج الموجهة للطلبة وايضا لكافة دوائر الجامعة الاكاديمية والإدارية والمحاسبية ويسعى مركز الحاسوب للمشاركة مع مختلف مراكز الجامعات السودانية وكذلك الشركات العالمية في قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات من خلال تبادل الخبرات والزيارات العلمية لنقل المعرفة وتوظيفها لخدمة جامعتنا وتحقيق اعلى معايير الجودة على المستوى المحلي والعالمي.
إن مركز الحاسوب في جامعة كسلا يحتل مكانه مرموقة على مستوى مراكز الجامعات السودانية في تكامل الخدمات وتلبيتها الحاجة المتزايدة لتوظيف الامكانيات التكنولوجيا الحديثة في عمل الجامعات على الصعيد الأكاديمي والإداري ممثله بأعضاء الهيئتين التدريسية والإدارية والركن الأساسي وهم الطلبة.
اخيرا لا يسعني الا تقديم الشكر والثناء على الجنود المجهولين كادر مركز الحاسوب الذين يواصلون العمل ليلا ونهارا لتقديم خدمات متميزة ترتقي إلى غايات رؤية ورسالة الجامعة من خلال إدارتها الرشيدة

Role in providing electronic service with the latest technological means of various technologies, which adopts the computer center through a qualified cadre and maintenance of all computing software that facilitates the procedures of service for students and staff professionalism and high responsibility
And starting from the university administration’s orientations represented by the university president, the computer center plays a leading role by adopting an integrated system of programs for students and also for all academic, administrative and accounting departments of the university. The computer center seeks to participate with the various centers of Sudanese universities as well as international companies in the information and communications technology sector through the exchange of experiences and scientific visits to transfer knowledge and employ it to serve our university and achieve the highest quality standards at the local and global levels
The computer center at the University of Kassala occupies a prominent place at the level of centers of the universities of Sudanese in the integration of services and meet the growing need to employ the possibilities of modern technology in the work of universities on academic and administrative level representative bodies with members of faculty and administrative basic corner they students
Finally . I can only give thanks and praise to the unknown soldiers, the computer center staff who continue to work day and night to provide distinguished services that rise to the goals of the vision and mission of the university through its rational management.
